Irvin to join Patrick on The Content Factory?

Jimmy DeCastro's The Content Factory seems to be snatching up as much former ESPN talent as it can grab.

Pro Football Talk reports that former ESPN NFL analyst and newly minted Hall of Famer Michael Irvin "is preparing a radio show that will be paired with Dan Patrick's new syndicated radio broadcast to be distributed by the Content Factory." According to Pro Football Talk, Irvin would host a program that will either precede or follow Patrick's still unnamed show.

Could Irvin carry his own radio show? Consider a recent embarrassment, when Irvin spent time as a guest on The Dan Patrick Show to discuss the origins of Tony Romo, going as far as to say that “… [there must be] some brothers in that line somewhere … [maybe his] great, great, great, great Grandma pulled one of them studs up outta the barn [and said] ‘come here for a second’ … back in the day …" While it may be unfair to assume that such comments would make up the majority of Irvin's show, it does make one wonder if his program will serve as a minefield of potential controversy.

Then again, in radio, that can only be a good thing.
