Nationwide Series fourth-highest rated sporting event last weekend.

How strong is the NASCAR brand? The sport's minor league finished with a higher rating than NBA Playoff game on ABC.

ABC drew a 2.6 rating for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Aaron's 312 on Saturday afternoon, the highest rating for a Nationwide/Busch Series event since ESPN and ABC began airing coverage last year.

The 2.6 rating made the Aaron's 312 the fourth-highest rated sporting event for the weekend. The race finished ahead of the Cavaliers/Wizards NBA Playoff game on ABC the next day, which drew a 2.4, and easily outpaced both baseball on FOX (2.0) and the NHL on NBC (0.7 Saturday and 1.0 Sunday).

The only events to draw a higher rating were the NFL Draft on ESPN (3.4), Spurs/Suns Game 4 on ABC (3.5) and the NASCAR Sprint Cup race on FOX (5.7).
